Photography is my ‘meraki’.  

Hi I’m Leanne, a professional photographer and Cyanotype artist. A deeply personal fascination with aesthetics drives my practice. I choose to see and create beauty in response to connections with people and the world.

Following tertiary studies in both photography and science, and following an often nomadic lifestyle, I find joy and creative inspiration in people and the world around me.

Caring deeply about Social Justice, in particular gender equity, I am honoured to work with a number of organisations that empower women and improve lives through education. Clients include CSIRO, Literacy for Life Foundation, Synapse - Australia’s Brain Injury Foundation, Creative Australia, Education Queensland and Her.Women’s Health.

Blue Muse is a personal creative project where art meets science; a space that suits me well. Utilising an 18th century cameraless photography process and foliage from glorious tropical gardens I create stunning designs on fabric and paper. Blue Muse is available for custom fabric designs and works on paper can also be made to order.
