Blue Muse art wear is my passion project. Given my training in science and photography, love of fashion and design, Cyanotypes are the perfect way for me to connect with nature and create art whilst spending time outside enjoying our beautiful tropical climate and gardens in Cairns. To create each hand-made fabric or work on paper I utilise an 18th century cameraless photography process and foliage from glorious tropical gardens to make stunning designs.
Cyanotypes are both delicate and robust. When cared for correctly Cyanotypes will last for many years. You can find out a little more about the history and the process itself here.
